Q: What size charger do I need at home?

A 7kW single-phase smart charger suits almost every home in London and adds roughly 25 to 30 miles of range per hour. Three-phase 11kW or 22kW units are only practical where a three-phase supply already exists.

Q: Do you handle the DNO notification?

Yes. Charge points must be notified to the Distribution Network Operator (UK Power Networks across most of London). We complete the notification or application and confirm your supply can support the charger, with load management fitted where it cannot.

Q: Are smart chargers mandatory?

Yes. Since June 2022 new home and workplace charge points sold in Great Britain must meet the smart charging regulations, including scheduled off-peak charging. All units we install comply.

Q: Can landlords install chargers for tenants?

Yes. We install for landlords and managing agents on driveways and allocated parking, and can advise on which properties have suitable supply capacity before you commit across a portfolio.
